Kemi, a Lagos florist, expects a proposal from her lawyer boyfriend Umar, but he ends things as his career takes off. Reeling, she is struck by the car of Tunde, a famous actor about to leave for Hollywood, and agrees to pose as his girlfriend to calm the tabloid fallout. Time together turns the act genuine, even as a jealous ex circles Tunde and Umar's firm pushes him to pull Kemi away for its own reasons.
