Mama Deola, a boisterous market trader, is determined to give her son Femi a wedding grand enough to impress his wealthy, dismissive in-laws. Broke but too proud to admit it, she takes a ten-million-naira loan from a ruthless lender and leans on stingy relatives to fund the celebration. As squabbles over cloth, catering, and class threaten to derail everything, a long-buried act of kindness resurfaces to reconcile both families just as the debt comes due.
